What is the pineal gland?

The pineal gland is a pea-shaped gland in the brain and the most underrated organ in the human body. We usually associate its function with sleep and hormonal regulation. Ultimately, however, it is the main switch for the autonomic nervous system, the immune and endocrine systems. It is no surprise that the ancient energy masters called it the "third eye" which is used to enhance our intuition, perception and awareness.
